But I really hope I was there last night… singing, dancing, waving my glowstick and shouting on the crowd but no, I was just actually laying in my bed instead. Crying silently, sadness filled all over me. It really hurts if you only knew! I was so depressed. I really wanted to see her. She's one of my inspirations.
Demi inspired me a lot. Her songs touches my heart most especially her song "Skyscraper". Even she had been through a lot in her life like being bullied, eating disorder, hurting herself… but still, she never gave up. She stayed strong instead, and I'm proud of it. She's actually now the Ambassador against bullying!
Her fans is her inspiration which made her even stronger. She even said it on her concert. I heard her saying it like that (I watched it on youtube). She was so thankful to her fans and so are we to her!
Just so you know, I actually did my best to have a ticket. I actually had saved a lil bit of money for the concert. I planned to buy Gen. Ad ticket but… i think the destiny is playing me so much. One of my family had an emergency problem so they need money and I didn't have any other choice but to sacrifice my little savings for the concert. Yeah, it hurts so much but my family is the most important at all. What can I do? They need it more than I do.
So yeah, after sacrificing my little money, my other chances left were joining promos and contest for the prize of concert tickets, soundcheck party passes and even meet & greet passes. I joined almost all of the contest I found on the internet. From facebook to twitter, sending an email, and even making a fan art. I flooded and spammed both of my Facebook and Twitter timelines. I even used all my 3 Facebook accounts and 2 twitter accounts. I reached tweet limits on twitter several times, and I've been blocked on sharing on facebook also many times which never happened to me before. I did everything! I gave all of my efforts on winning but I didn't got any luck. Not even a single one. It's too bad for me. It really broke my heart everytime they announced the winners and my name was not on the list. Ouch! I was just unfortunate. It was so depressing! Poor me. :(
And because I missed her concert last night, I ended up watching her concert on youtube instead of watching her live. I am so glad that one of the concert goer uploaded a FULL CONCERT video on youtube. I was so thankful! I didnt expect that actually. It was just the right video for the less fortunate like me who missed that incredible night. It's one of the things that I regret in my life actually. Maybe next time if she comes back to the Philippines, I'll never miss it! Never again!!!!
And this morning, I received a wonderful message from Wilbros Live (one of the concert producers) which made my day. It was actually about the contest.
Quoting their message... "Thank you, Lean. As much as we would like everybody to win, there is always a limit to it. So if you were unlucky this time, you may be the lucky one next time. We move in circles. So don't loose hope and Wilbros Live will be bringing more concerts soon. So keep following and sharing!"
This message touched my heart. I never expected for them to reply to me like that. Well actually, they replied to me twice as if we're having a conversation on facebook. I'm glad that they didn't ignore me (unlike the other concert productions did) and understood my feelings, as if they care for us. And they are right, I should never loose my hope. There's always next time. Who knows next time I'll get all the luck. This message gave me hope. As if a wake up call to me. They are absolutely right! Thank you Wilbros Live for this wonderful message. It made my day.
And I'm still hoping that Demi will come back soon. I can't wait for that. And I'm not going to miss it again, never! Hoping for the Jonas Brothers too. Haha.
For now, I'm gonna support her on her music. Especially now that she'll be releasing her upcoming 4th album soon. I can't wait to hear her new songs! :)
And her latest single entitled "Heart Attack" (the 1st single on her 4th album) is really giving me a heart atatatatatatataaaaccckkkk!! Lol. :P
